WANdisco Welcomes Nick Parker as Its New Chief Financial Officer

Former Dyson Group CFO Joins to Support WANdisco's Rapid Growth and Expansion Plans


SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 14, 2011) - WANdisco today announced that Nick Parker, the former chief financial officer (CFO) of Dyson Group, has become the company's chief financial officer.

Parker will report to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & co-founder, David Richards. He will oversee WANdisco's finance, accounting and investor relations. He also becomes a part of the company's executive management team, which directs all aspects of company strategy, planning and operations.

Parker was previously the Dyson Group PLC CFO for over eight years and played a key role in the transformation of Dyson from a traditional refractory business into a high growth performance materials group. More recently Parker was the Chief Executive of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club where he transformed and then sold the British soccer club to private investors. Parker also served as VP of Corporate Development at Carclo PLC where he oversaw a large volume of corporate activity with numerous acquisitions and disposals in the UK and overseas.

Nick holds a BA in Accountancy & Economics from the University of Exeter in the UK.
