The new portfolio for the OMXI6 index has been selected. Hagar hf. will be included in the index in place of Atlantic Airways P/F.
The decision to include Hagar hf. was made on the basis of article 2.2.2 of the Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the OMXI6 index, in order to ensure the quality of the index in light of special circumstances.
The selection is conditional on the approval of the admission of Hagar hf.’s shares to trading after the final results of the public offering of the company’s shares have been announced on December 14, 2011.
The new composition is effective January 1, 2012. The new weights will be posted on Global Index Watch https://indexes.nasdaqomx.com when the final details of the new composition have been set.
