Notification according to section 26 para. 1 WpHG 

Else-Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung, Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, Germany, Fresenius
Management SE, Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, Germany, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA,
Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, Germany, Fresenius ProServe GmbH, Bad Homburg v. d.
Höhe, Germany, and FPS Beteiligungs AG, Düsseldorf, Germany, notified us
pursuant to section 25a WpHG of the following:

1) On 15 June 2012, Else-Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung fell below the threshold
of 10% and 5% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Else-Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung held 0.0003% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft (equals 400 voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 0.0003% (equals 400 voting rights)
is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG. In addition, a
proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is based on (financial / other)
instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG and a proportion of 0% (equals 0
voting rights) is based on (financial / other) instruments pursuant to
section 25a WpHG.

2) On 15 June 2012, Fresenius Management SE fell below the threshold of 10%
and 5% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Fresenius Management SE held 0.0003% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft (equals 400 voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 0.0003% (equals 400 voting rights)
is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG. In addition, a
proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is based on (financial / other)
instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG and a proportion of 0% (equals 0
voting rights) is based on (financial / other) instruments pursuant to
section 25a WpHG.

3) On 15 June 2012, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA fell below the threshold of 10%
and 5% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA held 0.0003% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft (equals 400 voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 0.0003% (equals 400 voting rights)
is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG. In addition, a
proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is based on (financial / other)
instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG and a proportion of 0% (equals 0
voting rights) is based on (financial / other) instruments pursuant to
section 25a WpHG.

4) On 15 June 2012, Fresenius ProServe GmbH fell below the threshold of 10%
and 5% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Fresenius ProServe GmbH held 0% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft (equals 0 voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is
based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG. In addition, a
proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is based on (financial / other)
instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG and a proportion of 0% (equals 0
voting rights) is based on (financial / other) instruments pursuant to
section 25a WpHG.

5) On 15 June 2012, FPS Beteiligungs AG fell below the threshold of 10% and
5% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz
1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, FPS Beteiligungs
AG held 0% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft (equals
0 voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is
based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG. In addition, a
proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is based on (financial / other)
instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG and a proportion of 0% (equals 0
voting rights) is based on (financial / other) instruments pursuant to
section 25a WpHG.
