Notification according to section 26 para. 1 WpHG 

On 25 June 2012, UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland, notified us pursuant to
section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

On 19 June 2012, UBS AG exceeded the threshold of 10% of the voting rights
in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, UBS AG held 11.66% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 16,121,282 voting rights.

Of these voting rights, a proportion of 0.56% (equals 767,540 voting
rights) is attributed to UBS AG pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no.
1 WpHG.
