(Nasdaq:ENTR), a world leader in semiconductor solutions for the connected home, today announced the appointment of Mr. Charlie Lesko as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales. Effective immediately, Lesko will be responsible for leading the expansion of the Company's global customer base across its set-top box and connectivity business groups. He will report directly to Patrick Henry, Entropic's president and CEO, and will be based at the Company's headquarters in San Diego, Calif.
Lesko comes to Entropic with more than 20 years of semiconductor sales and business experience having served in executive management positions at leading companies: CSR, plc., AMI Semiconductor and Broadcom Corporation to name a few.

Prior to joining Entropic, Lesko was senior vice president of the Automotive Products Business Group at CSR, plc., the second largest supplier of infotainment semiconductor devices to the automotive industry and a leader in connectivity, applications processing, video and imaging technology. During his tenure with CSR, plc., Lesko also held the position of senior vice president, Worldwide Sales.
