Christel House Academy South and West named 2014 Payless Gives(TM) Shoes 4 Kids partners

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 5, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Christel House Academy South and West are pleased to announce their selection as official partners of Payless GivesTM Shoes 4 Kids, an annual giving program from Payless ShoeSource. Christel House academies will distribute merchandise certificates for children's shoes to numerous families at their two Indianapolis campuses.

In partnering with the Payless Gives™ Shoes 4 Kids program, Christel House academies hope to relieve some of the stress parents feel during the holidays and bring joy to as many children as possible, by helping struggling families provide their children with basic essentials.

"We are delighted once again to be part of this important initiative, which helps provide shoes to our students who are most in need," said Carey Dahncke, Chief Academic Officer of Christel House Academy. "Payless ShoeSource continues to be an invaluable resource as we seek to transform lives and help students re-imagine their futures."

This is the seventh year of the Payless Gives™ Shoes 4 Kids program. Although studies show that properly fitting shoes are important for children's health and development, a striking number of children don't own a pair of shoes that fit. Christel House Academy South and West, and Payless ShoeSource strive to help local families combat this problem in their homes and communities.
