On October 29, 2015, State Street Bank and Trust Company, Boston, United
States has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG
(German Securities Trading Act) that via shares its Voting Rights on Leoni
AG, Nürnberg, Germany, have exceeded the 3 % threshold of the Voting Rights
on October 23, 2015 and on that day amounted to 3.18 % (this corresponds to
1,039,319 Voting Rights).

0.14 % of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 47,267 Voting Rights) are
held directly by the company.

3.04 % of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 992,052 Voting Rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act).

0.09 % of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 29,396 Voting Rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act).

Of the total of 1,039,319 Voting Rights (this corresponds to 3.18 % of the
Voting Rights) a portion of 29,396 Voting Rights (this corresponds to 0.09
% of the Voting Rights) is attributed pursuant to Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, Nr. 6 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act) and
concurrently pursuant to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the
WpHG (German Securities Trading Act).
