Many New Exciting Features for Pet Boarding Offered at Blue Valley Animal Hospital

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Nov. 08, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Blue Valley Animal Hospital has many new exciting features available when it comes to pet boarding. "These new features such as the Shor-Line double decker kennels with dual swing door and panel have been manufactured exclusively for Blue Valley Animal Hospital. We are convinced that dog and cat owners who need professional pet boarding services will find these added features more than adequate to meet all of their pet boarding needs," says Dr. Brad Spain, a veterinarian at Blue Valley Animal Hospital. Other new features include sound deadening privacy doors and panels with ventilation, individual drains for each kennel, and a quiet latch system on each kennel.

"We are really happy with the new features at Blue Valley Animal Hospital," says Dr. Mary Gardner who also works as a veterinarian. "These new features will make pets much more comfortable during their stay. For instance, the sound deadening privacy doors ensure a quiet relaxing stay for pets."

With sixteen square feet of floor space and 48 cubic feet of space for pets to stretch out, pets will have plenty of room in their home away from home.  The individual drains for each kennel allows pets to use the facility in the middle of the night. This makes it quicker and easier for them to get cleaned. This also ensures pets have a clean living space during their stay. Kennels are equipped with a quiet latch system so that other pet boarders will not be disrupted, startled, or awakened. Besides these new features, all dogs will still get their own elevated Kuranda beds so that they can rest easily with their own blanket. The specialty-equipped cat room comes complete with a scratching post, climbing tower, large windows and receives two litter cleanings a day.

"Many pet boarding facilities have a drab-looking appearance because of the gray/tan block look. Our kennels are brightly colored which helps to create a fun atmosphere for both the animals and the staff. The bright colors and clear doors do away with that dreary hospital look that is common in other boarding facilities," says Dr. Mary Gardner.

Blue Valley Animal Hospital is located at 16200 Metcalf Ave in Overland Park, Kansas. Along with offering professional pet boarding services, Blue Valley Animal Hospital also provides doggie daycare, grooming, and a full array of veterinary services including digital x-ray, vaccinations, dentistry, dermatology, surgical services and emergency care.

Both Dr. Spain and Dr. Gardner are natives of Kansas and together have a combined total of 19 years of experience in veterinary medicine. They can be contacted at 913-681-2818 or via their website http://bluevalleyanimalhospital.net.
