IPG Named the Most Effective Holding Company at the 2017 North American Effie Awards


FCB, McCann and MullenLowe US Networks All Rank as Top Ten Most Effective Agency Networks in North America 

McCann New York Named Most Effective Agency Office in North America 


New York, NY - June 2, 2017 - Last night, the Effie Awards named Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) the most effective holding group in North America. Additionally, IPG's three US creative networks - FCB, McCann and MullenLowe - all ranked among the top ten most effective agency networks in North America. The Effie awards ceremony also honored McCann New York as the most effective agency office in North America, with the agency office moving up 12 spots from its 2016 position. Since 1968, the Effie Awards have honored the most effective marketing communications ideas.

The Effie Index identifies and ranks the marketing communications industry's most effective agencies, marketers and brands by analyzing finalist and winner data from worldwide Effie Awards competitions.  The North American rankings reflect finalist and winning work from the 2017 North American Effie Awards competition and will be factored into the 2018 Global Effie Index.
