Dallas, June 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Istation, a leader in educational technology, announces that educators and students in Kansas will continue to have free and unlimited access to Istation Reading for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years. This means all pre-K through 8th grade students at public schools in Kansas are eligible for free and unlimited access to Istation Reading for school and home use throughout the academic year.

“We value our continued partnership with Kansas educators during the past several years,” said Richard Collins, Istation Chairman and CEO. “Istation is looking forward to a new year of serving educators and students throughout the state of Kansas. We believe in helping students achieve their full potential, and we are excited to deepen our ties with schools and districts who help accomplish this broad mission.”

Istation is an adaptive, computer-delivered program that is both interactive and fun. The comprehensive library of support materials makes every minute of teaching and learning more effective. Easy-to-use components also work together to provide every student with the individualized instruction he or she needs for continual achievement.

Educators and parents can access online reports that track student progress and provide links to supplemental lessons. Istation’s research-based program supports intervention, development and enrichment, making it appropriate for all learners.

The Istation Reading curriculum is correlated to the Kansas College and Career Ready Standards for English Language Arts and Literacy for kindergarten through 8th grade. Istation has contracted with the Fort Hays State University College of Education in Hays to provide a variety of research and data analysis, including an examination of the effects of the Istation Reading program on participating students.

Istation Reading has been reviewed and endorsed by the Council of Administrators of Special Education, the National Center on Response to Intervention and the Florida Center for Reading Research. More than a dozen studies and reviews conducted during the last decade prove Istation’s learning programs deliver results. Research also shows that students who use Istation Reading and Istation Español experience greater growth in reading ability than students who don’t.
