PM PEDIATRICS EXPANDS NORTHEAST FOOTPRINT WITH ITS FIRST MASSACHUSETTS LOCATION AND 23RD PRACTICE OVERALL

-- Specialized Pediatric Urgent Care Opens Its Doors in Dedham, MA --

LAKE SUCCESS, NY, July 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PM Pediatrics, the nation’s largest provider of specialized pediatric urgent care, opened its first Massachusetts location on July 3 in Dedham at 719 Providence Highway. This latest opening marks the company’s 23rd practice overall, following launches this year in Commack, NY, Rockville, MD and Clifton, NJ. Dr. Toni Clare Hogencamp is the Medical Director at PM Pediatrics in Dedham. She also serves as New England Regional Medical Director, where she leads the development of future PM Pediatrics sites in the region, ensuring consistency and excellence, overseeing clinical operations, quality initiatives, education and training.

PM Pediatrics of Dedham is open 365 days a year, Monday through Sunday from Noon to Midnight, and on select holidays from 10:00am to Midnight. The 5,000 square foot, state-of-the-art location is staffed by Pediatric Emergency Specialists, including board-certified pediatric emergency physicians and pediatricians, and features onsite digital x-ray and lab, 11 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms. Unlike traditional urgent care practices, PM Pediatrics treats children and young adults exclusively, with physicians, nurses, equipment and an office environment all tailored to provide the best possible care for pediatric patients. The Dedham practice is set against a distinctly designed and welcoming jungle theme.

“Breaking ground in Massachusetts furthers our mission to deliver unparalleled specialized urgent care to children everywhere – in the most age-appropriate setting, and when they need it most,” said Dr. Jeffrey Schor, founder of PM Pediatrics. “Dr. Hogencamp brings with her a wealth of top-level experience in urgent and acute care, as well as years of expertise in medical management. We are thrilled to have her at the helm of our company's expansion into New England.”

Prior to joining PM Pediatrics, Dr. Hogencamp was the Director of the Urgent Care Program at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she instituted a core curriculum and gave numerous Continuing Medical Education lectures. Prior to that, Dr. Hogencamp worked in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Schneider Children’s Hospital (now Cohen Children’s Medical Center) in New York and went on to serve as Director of their UrgiCenter. She was also the Pediatric Medical Advisor for CVS Health’s Minute Clinic, and an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hogencamp is a founding member of the Society for Pediatric Urgent Care. She earned her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and received her Bachelor of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University.
