New Governance for Fnac Darty

New Governance for Fnac Darty

Fnac Darty's Board of Directors has appointed Enrique Martinez as Chief Executive Officer following the departure of Alexandre Bompard, who stepped down as Chairman and CEO.

Enrique Martinez's appointment reflects the Board's intention to continue the Group's transformation that started in recent years, with the support of the current management team, and to effectively complete the Fnac Darty integration process that began in 2016.

The Board's choice reflects its conviction that managerial continuity is the best way of enabling the Group to strengthen both its position on the market and its operational performance.

The Board of Directors will be chaired by Jacques Veyrat, who will provide Enrique Martinez and the management team with his experience and contribute to the Group's strategic positioning.

The audit committee, who was until now presided by Jacques Veyrat, will now be chaired by Marie Cheval.

The Board wishes to thank Alexandre Bompard for his actions as Chairman and CEO of the Group over the past seven years, which resulted not only in its operational recovery but also in the successful merger of Fnac and Darty.
