Vopak Extraordinary General Meeting passes resolution to appoint Gerard Paulides as member of the Executive Board and CFO


The Extraordinary General Meeting of Vopak held on 15 December 2017, has passed the sole resolution on the agenda to appoint Gerard Paulides as member of the Executive Board and CFO as per 1 February 2018 for a term of 4 years.

Gerard Paulides (54) has experience as Executive Vice President Investor Relations at Royal Dutch Shell and as member of the Board of Directors of Shell Midstream Partners. He has a strong track record as CFO and successfully fulfilled several finance and mergers & acquisitions leadership roles in the gas, chemicals and oil industry including leading the Royal Dutch Shell / BG Group transaction completed in 2016.

His broad, international experience and deep understanding of the energy industry makes him very well qualified to serve as CFO of Royal Vopak and he will contribute greatly to realize Vopak's ambition for further growth and continued service & operational leadership.

Gerard Paulides will succeed Jack de Kreij who has decided in November 2016 to step down per 1 February 2018. Link to related press release
