Visionstate hires Global Strategist to facilitate growth for Company’s Internet of Things technology

EDMONTON, Alberta, Jan. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Visionstate Corp. (TSXV:VIS) is pleased to announce the addition of Debra Williams to its executive team, in the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development.

Debra brings 25 years of experience and industry knowledge to the Visionstate team, and is strategically located in Toronto, Ontario with proximity to some of the Company’s largest customers. Debra will also be heading up the Company’s global sales strategy in Europe and Asia as Visionstate prepares to launch its products in those markets.

Debra has a proven track record in developing sales and business strategies for global companies in both technology and telecommunications. She has a keen understanding of how to commercialize and monetize data and analytics, which are key components to Visionstate’s technology.

“As we continue to commercialize our proprietary technology, we require expertise on the most effective strategies for growth and business development,” explained John Putters, CEO of Visionstate Corp. “Debra has an excellent combination of knowledge and experience which will be a significant asset as we launch our products in new markets.”

The appointment reflects the growing demand for Visionstate’s proprietary WANDA™ technology, an IoT or Internet of Things device that collects and analyzes data related to cleaning, maintaining and supplying public buildings such as airports, hospitals, office towers and shopping centers. Visionstate already has a foothold in those key markets, and most recently deployed to a network of gas station and convenience stores in the US, marking yet another entry into a new market sector.

The Company’s recent disclosure of terms on acquiring Chatbot Incubators is an example of how Visionstate Corp is investing in high growth opportunities that are synergistic with existing operations to further increase sales. The artificial intelligence (AI) technology from Chatbot significantly enhances Visionstate’s CINDI™ product, which is targeted toward the hospitality sector and contains many of the same auditing features as WANDA™.
