Brunswick Corporation : Crestliner Introduces New and Improved Models for 2018

Otsego, Minn., Feb. 27, 2018 - Crestliner Boats welcomes four new models to its 2018 line-up, each highlighted by highly functional designs and innovative feature sets. The Outreach is Crestliner's all-new Utility-V model; the Retriever Forward Center Console (FCC) and Retriever SC Heavy Duty (SCHD) have joined the shallow-water Mod-V series; and the versatile Bass Hawk is the latest addition to the Deep-V series. In addition to these four new models, Crestliner has added upgrades and new capabilities to existing models throughout the entire line-up.

"This year's new models and improved features embody what Crestliner is all about," said Jake Mirabal, Crestliner product manager. "Our goal continues to be to push the boundaries through innovation and design, and this year's four new models do just that. Crestliner boats are crafted to deliver."

Crestliner's all-new Bass Hawk is the latest addition to the Deep-V series. It was built on the Fish Hawk hull design, and features raised bow and stern casting decks similar to the VT and PT bass boats.  Available in 1750 and 1850 versions, the versatile Bass Hawk is ideal for not only bass anglers, but also for other multi-species fishermen.

The all-new Outreach model expands the Utility-V series, and comes in a variety of sizes to match the customer's needs. The Outreach aims for rugged simplicity and complete ease when it comes to transportation and maintenance, and features bench seating, with walk-though bench options available.

In the Mod-V line, Crestliner added the Retriever Forward Center Console (FCC) and Retriever SC Heavy Duty (SCHD), both new for 2018 and perfect for shallow-water fishing. The Retriever SCHD is built with .125-gauge aluminum for ultra durability, and it features a wider bottom, massive 60-gallon livewell and a large bow deck with ample storage. Crestliner's other new Retriever, the FCC, powered by a jet engine, is perfect for shallow-water fishing.  The FCC features an aerated bow livewell and plenty of rod storage.

Beyond the four new models, Crestliner has added new enhancements and exciting new features to existing models. Updated upholstery and wood-free transoms now come standard on most models and are an option on all other models. All Deep-V products have improved canvas, and new seats adorn the Storm, Outlook, Arrow and Retriever models. MOB+ (Wireless Man OverBoard System), Active Trim, Panther Power Steering and Vessel View Link are newly available for select models, as well.

"The product upgrades reflect our passion for boating," said Eric Hendrickson, president of Crestliner. "Part of our commitment to improving year-after-year means paying attention to every aspect of the boat from hardware to drivability to aesthetics. The new features add a level of unparalleled flexibility and excellence."
