Bigben increases its stake in Kylotonn

to 45 % of the capital

Bigben announces being now the owner of a 45% stake in the capital of Kylotonn, the French development studio in charge of developing flagship games for the Group such as WRC, TT Isle of Man and V-Rally 4.

After taking a 24.99% stake in the capital of the developer in July 2017, Bigben acquired an additional 20.01% from minority shareholders on 18 April 2018.

Roman Vincent, the studio's founding director, holds the remaining 55% of the capital.

This operation reflects Bigben's desire to go further upstream in the gaming business industry in order to position itself as a developer/publisher. This increase of its stake in the capital of the Kylotonn development studio allows the Group to secure high quality assets for its next racing games as part of its strategy to become a leader on the AA games segment while Kylotonn thus ensures the long term viability of its activity.

Created in 2002 in Paris, Kylotonn has developed more than 25 games, specialising in racing games in recent years, among which the emblematic WRC published by Bigben, The studio, which employs 95 developers in Paris and 25 in Lyon, uses the internal real-time 3D (Kt engine) technology for the development of its multi-platform creations (PS4, Xbox One, PC and SWITCH).
