MedMira Announces Revocation of Cease Trade Order


HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, Sept. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MedMira Inc. (MedMira) (TSXV: MIR), announced that the Nova Scotia Securities Commission has revoked the Cease Trade Order, which was issued on August 31, 2018 due to late filing of documents related to the resignation of the Company’s auditor, Deloitte LLP.  The auditor issued notification of resignation when terms of engagement could not be established with MedMira.  There were no reservations in Deloitte’s reports on any of the Company's audited financial statements and no reportable events between MedMira and the auditor. 

In accordance with National Instrument 51-102, the notice of change of auditor, together with the required letter from Deloitte LLP, have been reviewed by the audit committee and the board of directors and have been filed on SEDAR.  The Company is now fully current on its regulatory disclosure filings.  The Nova Scotia Securities Commission has issued a Revocation Order to the Cease Trade Order. 

Trading through the TSX Venture Exchange remains halted pending the completion of the Company's reinstatement review.
