RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Aug. 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- JAGGAER, the world’s largest independent spend management company, today announces that the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) has selected the JAGGAER ONE spend management platform. The agreement runs from July 2019 to June 2022 has commenced with implementation of Sourcing+, Contracts and Supplier Management+. The agreement leverages the piggy-back clause included in the existing contract with the New South Wales Department of Justice and NSW Rural Fire Service.
JAGGAER ONE will enable NESA staff to effectively manage the strategic and operational activities relating to sourcing, supplier profiling/performance management, contract management and spend visibility.
JAGGAER ONE’s secure and robust operating environment will allow NESA staff to improve the planning, governance and control of the sourcing process, ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures, enhance procurement performance, and increase staff productivity by automating routine administrative activities. NESA will benefit from savings, risk reduction, and innovation while improving supplier performance levels.
The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) replaced the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES) on 1 January 2017 following the Review of BOSTES in 2016. NESA sets and monitors quality teaching, learning, assessment and school standards across NSW public, Catholic and independent schools.
NESA joins several other NSW Government agencies actively using JAGGAER ONE. These include NSW Department of Justice, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Telco and NSW DFSI.
